How many times have we traveled by road to places in tamilnadu or other states. On the way we would have had foods in some hotels and i want to talk about 2 characters, one the hotel watchman who takes care of the car parking and the other one is your taxi driver in case you travel by cab

I had a chance to speak to a highway hotel watchman some time back and his salary was just INR per month. The management did give him meals 3 times a day and also a place to stay but what could the person do with this amount of money. He has to stand in the HOT SUN most of times and see to that his clients park the car properly and also he takes of the hotels security. There are some kind hearted people who give them money, they must be 1 in 1000 people who give 5 INR as tips.

The next is the cab driver. He told me that he hailed from a very poor family and they could not afford him education. So he took a loan and learnt to drive a car and for years he has been a car driver. They have no rest many of the times. They will drop someone from a long trip and in the next couple of hours, they are ready to go again on a trip. These drivers are paid INR 7000 per month but they have a bad life style - a life where REST is bad word and you will be abused if you SLEEP.

There are rules laid down by the government of india for each type of employment especially regarding working conditions and working hours but No one follows it.
